Can black people turn white?

I'm black and i'm planning on going to Sweden. If I do go there, how will i get lighter? Is it a permanent change or a change I'll get just from living there.

    Black People Turning White

The theory is that white people came around as a result of the Ice Age and a vitamin D deficiency in their blood that produced a look that simply stayed. I think if you put say ,10.000 black people in a place like Greenland and allowed them to live there for thousands of years undisturbed, then the end result would be a caucasian race of some description. However, white people in a hot climate would just succumb to skin cancer thus they would always be covering up. In the latter case only if black people were interbred with the white group would the dark complexion return. Just a theory mind.

    they can turn very light

i know in the winter i usually turn a bunch of shades lighter. (that's probably because i'm not my natural skin tone. i got very darker from not wearing sunblock)

last winter when i went home the first thing my family said was "omg, what happen to your tone" i was like...i did not notice anything...

but can a black person turn white...look at michael jackson, he's a white woman now

    no.

you have the skin you have--- Its dependent on the melanin ( the part of you skin that affect coloration of the skin)

Some lightening or darkening does occur with sun exposure, but African american skin has less change with sun exposure...

    and

    yes

There are chemical treatments people have done.(toxic stuff!)

Please consider the possibility that you are perfect just as you are.

and you are much more than you skin. I can see how you might feel a little discomfort going to a new place.

Trust that others will like you, as you like yourself.

act in a way that accepts you, and create that positive response.

Your skin might lighten somewhat if you have been living in a sunnier climate at lower latitudes, but it won't be all that noticeable. Just be happy with who you are.

Michael Jackson looks like a DEAD white person...like the Crypt Keeper!

That's only if they "destroy" their skin condition meaning they put harsh chemicals or have a disease and their complexion changes and no,I don't think your complexion would go all the way pale like that, especially if you're of dark complected just because you go to Sweden, who told you that?Just look it up because I really don't know what it means and have you seen how Lil'Kim and Michael Jackson lately of how they changed their selves? http://www.enjoyfrance.com/images/stories/world/en...

Lil'Kim bleached or did something in surgey to make her dark skin more paler and Michael Jackson just had a skin condition, not caused by weather.

Be happy the way you are. Why would you want to change yourself?

If you want to be lighter, there's always the Lightening skin procedure.
