Pop up saying "You have a security problem"?
I keep getting a pop up saying "You have a security problem." It appears as the red ballon windows update. It keeps trying to open a page and download an anti spyware program.
Not getting picked up as a virus. How can I get rid of it?

You have smitfraud.
SmitFraud has become a term to mean an infection where fake security alerts appear in your taskbar stating that you are infected. These alerts tend to be accompanied by a rogue anti-spyware program installed on your computer without your consent. Clicking on one of these fake security alerts will either bring you to a home page where you can purchase other fraudulent software or will install automatically, without your permission, one of these software.

Is it is coming up as a balloon at bottom right corner of your screen with a red X or orange ! shield then this is certainly not any virus, instead it is a warning to you from Windows that your computer does not have an Anti_spyware program which helps to protect your system from things which can cause the system to behave unusually.
q. What to do ?
ans. --- Goto this link and download the free version of Super AntiSpyware. Install and let it update itself.

could be the antispyware or virus 2009 malware - download spybot search and destroy - run this it will probably need to reboot before it can remove it properly - (if you allow the malware to get to its website it will try to charge you to remove it)
