Can I get an apartment this cheap?

for 200-300 dollars a month the only apartment you would find, will most likely be one that has leaking ceilings, cracked walls etc... and it will probably be in a bad neighborhood not saying that, that is all you will find but that is mostly what you will find

Probably for 300 or so, especially if you could find a roommate...but you should probably also get triple bolts and be armed to the teeth every time you leave the house unless you get lucky.

i live on long island, ny and an average studi apt here is about $900 a month... I lived upstate for a little while and I got a 3 bedroom apt for $350 a month..

I just have one thing to say after recently looking at apartments - unless you really luck out, you generally get what you pay for.
