  • When burning mp3 files into an audio CD how to get the titles to appear in window of your car CD player?

I have used Nero and Windows Media Player and entered data into Notes fields but nothing ever shows in the player's window.

  • girls with beer bellies?

Has anyone else noticed the rather large number of hot young babes with otherwise slender bodies, but who have what I used to call "belly bumps," but I now call "beer bellies?"

They can't all be three months pregnant. It just looks really, really weird. Add to that the "traditional" tramp stamp or tribal tattoos and I'm left aghast.

  • bailing out General Motors?

Does this prove we're only throwing good money after bad? We give them $13.4 billion which they immediately gobble-up and want $26 billion more with nothing to back it up and the virtual promise of bankruptcy.

Loaning money to Chryler in the 70s as a one-time thing worked (with full repayment), but when EVERYONE has their hands out - even the porn industry - isn't it obvious many of these companies need to go out of business?

  • adding friends to Facebook...?

I searched my rather unique last name and found 170 other Facebook members. That didn't seem like much so I intended to invite them all. When I got to about 150 a warning window popped-up and I checked the link, but it wasn't very informative.

Since I only had about 20 to go I wanted to finish them off because if I stopped and started over later I'd probably do a lot of duplicate inviting and I didn't want to spam anyone.

The page locked-up and told me I was blocked from sending out any more invitations. I searched Facebook but don't see any deeper explanation or contact addresses or way to get un-blocked.

Will I automatically be unblocked after some hours/days?

  • Why give celebrity status to a multiple birth mom?

I can understand the awe and mystery of a naturally occuring set of sex- septuplets, but if they're test-tube babies what's the big deal?

It's like if you were a boob-guy. Why admire sacks of saline in a woman's chest?

  • What should happen to the managers at Peanut Corp of America?

"Three men have been sentenced to death in China for their involvement in the melamine contamination, which led to the deaths of six children and made nearly 300,000 sick in China."

In China they execute such people and we say "Bravo!"

The executives of the American company are responsible for at least 8 deaths here and have been selling contaminated products for years.

  • child's "suicide" in Chicago?

    www.abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=6812036

It is very unlikely that such a young child would willingly commit suicide. But there are more alternative answers than murder.

No one is discussing "the choke game" which is fairly popular with kids as a cheap high. I had a 11 year old nephew who died from it.

  • disappointed in obama?

    - i am so disappointed in obama

    - three nominees who passed all the vetting turn out to be big-time tax evaders... how many others in consideration were this and worse and were turned away?

    - the new head of the IRS is a huge tax evader and cheat

    - bush is gone - he is history - the messiah is our future

    - yet our future of change is looking ever bleaker and we can't blame the republicans any more, the dems are in full power

    - "change we can believe in" is becoming ever more the march of socialism - i am seeing the subtle fingerprint of the changes that came to post-war romania

    - step by step the economy is destroyed to "save it"

    - the "producers" in our society are stripped and the proceeds dispersed to those who do no labor, because "the rich" owe them a free living

    - socialized medicine will guarantee only the bare minimum of stabilizing-care that will have to be augmented by private insurance anyway

  • what is the confusion?

"Khalid Sheikh Mohammed said Monday he will confess to masterminding the Sept. 11 attacks, throwing his death-penalty trial into disarray and shocking victims' relatives who watched from behind a glass partition. Four other men also abandoned their defenses, in effect daring the Pentagon to grant their wish for martyrdom."

Why is there confusion? The plead guilty, now it's time for their sentence. If it's to be death, simply do it in a "humane" way, but one that is distasteful to their culture.

  • maybe obama should help them?

Maybe Obama should bail out the auto-makers!

"President-elect Barack Obama's aides released new information showing the magnitude of their [fund-raising] feat: They raised nearly $1 billion for his campaign and other election-related efforts.

"The stunning total includes already recorded and estimated fundraising for his campaign, national convention, transition and upcoming inauguration."

  • it looks like clinton is in power now?

Did the Clintons pull a big switcheroo and actually get a Shadow President elected to be a 'placeholder' as Hillary becomes Secretary of State and their old staffers fill Obama's staff??

    What happened to "change"?

  • Was Jesus the first radical?

As Saul Alinsky states in the dedication in the first edition of seminal book, "Rules for Radicals:"

"Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: From all our legends, mythology and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins -- or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom -- Lucifer."

So does this mean that Obama's true spiritual forefather is Satan?

  • Isn't this why God created the firing squad and guillotine?

Ohio killer: Weight gain isn't to avoid execution (AP)

A double murderer scheduled to be executed next month in Ohio said Tuesday he has not deliberately gained weight to rule out his death by lethal injection.

Richard Cooey said in a death row interview that his execution cannot be carried out humanely under current state procedures because his veins are hard to reach.

  • re Section 8 housing?

I have a four-plex. Normally, the utilities are not included. If I choose to rent to ONE Section 8 woman/child can I bump-up the rent to include the utilities, or do they give an allowance to her, as well as the rent?

Besides the possibility of getting saddled with derilicts what is the drawback to a Section 8 tenant?

I will be renting to a good friend and if Section 8 denied her I'd give her free rent and some support anyway for a year or so. But by trying for food stamps, Section 8, WIC, etc., etc. I'll be less out-of-pocket.

  • where are the mass protests on Russia's invasion of Georgia?

South Ossetia and Abkhazia are within the national borders of Georgia. Even though many residents there hold Russian passports they are subjects of the Georgian national government.

If this can be justified then can we expect Mexico to invade as we enforce immigration laws that involve their citizens?

In any case, where are the mass street protests in the US? Why is no one burning the Russian flag and calling the Russian army babykillers?

  • Two supervisors at a meat packing plant were arrested.?

They were charged with encouraging people to live in the United States illegally. Dozens of fraudulent permanent-resident alien cards were seized from the plant's human resources department.

Do you think employers who condone identity theft and personal fraud should be allowed to exploit illegal aliens?

It seems to me their actions hurt ALL of us, and punishing these violations strongly shows that employers will be held accountable for their illegal actions.
