When burning mp3 files into an audio CD how to get the titles to appear in window of your car CD player?

I have used Nero and Windows Media Player and entered data into Notes fields but nothing ever shows in the player's window.

Update:

Should I convert from mp3 and enter the data in some field of another format?

Update 2:

The player does not support mp3 files. I am burning it into a standard CD format.

First your car player has to support that behavior. Try a new store bought CD in there and see if the titles show up. If they don't then they can't. If they do then your mp3 files have to have the titles in the tags of the file. You can right click on the file in explorer and hit properties to see what's there and add what's missing. You can also get a mp3 tagging program to do multiples at once. But just right click and check. Lastly you must make sure the tags are being copied when the CD is burned. Both Nero and WMP do this so you're all right there...

If the cd holds mp3 data, then the mp3 tracks need ID3 tags.
