I'm looking for a new NFL team to support: Who should it be?

I am not a fair weather fan. I've supported my team since I was 8, through 2-14 seasons, and 4 straight losses in the Super Bowl. I cheered when Flutie led them to the playoffs in 1999, and continued to support them even though Flutie was benched for Rob Johnson when the playoffs started, leading to a loss. I've supported all this decade, despite 1 winning record and not even a sniff of the playoffs. But to move a rivalry game out of the country, and allow a December game against Miami to be played indoors...well, that's it. Stay in fu**ing Toronto, I'm looking for a new team.

Update:

Friendly Stranger: If I were a bandwagon jumper, I would have left a long time ago. I'm not giving up on them because they're bad this year or this decade. I'm giving up on them because the decision to move the Miami game to Toronto and to allow it to be played indoors shows no loyalty on the part of the team towards the fans. I would rather have you insult me for things that are not true than to support a team that does not respect its fans.

God bless you fans from the snowey north. I respect the hell out of you guys for actually going to game when its like 2 outside. I am from the south and I cannot even begin to imagine that type of weather, I am sure its the same thing for you about our summers-----105, with 95% humidity. Trying to not step on your balls....

Any way.... If you like a team that is young, has shown it can go throught adversity and become winners you may want to look at the new ATL Falcons. With all the stuff that has happened to the team in the last year theey are actually rising above it to become respectable. Not just on the playing Field....they are becoming a respectable organization. For example.....Getting rid of Deangelo Hall....alot of people criticized it, but it turned out that as talented as he was, he broke the team down in the locker room. The inside sources say that the captins of the team (Abraham for D) talked with the owner and GM and let them know what they thought of him. The team decided to let him go, and good they did. Also, The owner--Aurther Blank---has put alot into making the stadium and facilities a place where players love to play. He has also made sure that the people going to the games are treated to freebies and swag at each game. Another point. Alot of the free agent signees come from the surrounding area, to allow the same people whoi watched them in college, watch them in their pro career....so they support the local player.

Enuff said....but Could you even imagine a team in such disarray as the Falcons last year being able to stand-up, play hard, win, and most of all be proud this year???? I didn't expect it, but I am sure getting excited about what is growing in the ATL.

Purple is my favorite color but I am not a die hard fan or baltimore or minnesota. My team is the Steelers. If you want to root for a team with stability, great coaching, family atmosphere, a band of brothers if you will then the Steelers are the team to root for. They have been the underdogs never getting the proper respect. Everyone says the Pats will win or the Colts in the past but when the Steelers do they never get the respect by the media. Hines Ward was one of the best players that played on the Steelers. A guy that fought for every reception played a hard nose style. Defenders hated playing against him. No matter how many times he got knocked down he always smiled. I am a 49érs and Steelers fan and I have adopted Seattle because I live there. Even though I get some hate for it I will always bleed black and gold. Die Hard Pens fan- that is the Pittsburgh penguins which is the NHL team of Pittsburgh and we also have the Pirates as the MLB team. Tonight AJ Burnett could do something that hasn't been done since 1991 and that is win 16 games.. If he wins then he will tie Zack Smith and John Smiley of the Pirates from 1991. But anyway the football team to root for that has the heart of a champion is the Pittsburgh Steelers. Even the NFL Yearbook said under the Steelers episode as Heart.

If I were you I would just analyze each team and see what you like about them. and see what players you like or if their winning or rebuilding. I will make some suggestions.

Atlanta Falcons : Matt Ryan and Michael Turner. Good young team. Might be fun to follow.

Green Bay Packers - Its cold and it snows there too, just like Buffalo. Aaron Rodgers looks like a good QB.

Baltimore Ravens - Joe Flacco is a good young QB, and their 9-4.

Indianapolis Colts - Peyton Manning makes funny facial expressions and its easy to make fun of him. He is one of the top QB's and the Colts usually do good every year.

Philadelphia Eagles - They usually are good every year. Their a tough team to play against. They beat the Giants last week.

Detroit Lions - They will start rebuilding this offseason without Matt Millen. Which is a very good thing for the Lions to get rid of him.

those are some suggestions.. i am a pats fan. i know you wont be a fan of theirs. and if you did i wouldnt want you to be a fan of theirs anyways.

I wouldn't change teams just because your team isn't or hasn't done very much. I think that if you do change, then you will be labeled as a band wagon fan. In my opinion, you should change if you want to, but know that you won't get any respect. Band wagon fans never get respect, because they jump on the hottest team just because they are winning. If you are going to change that is up to you, I don't advise it because you will look like you don't know about football, and no respect will come to you. Stick with your team. The Bills organization isn't that bad. Think about it, the Raiders and Lions are in a worse situation. Be thank-ful your team has been to the super bowl unlike the Cardinals, Texans, Saints, etc. My advice stick with your team.

Keep it in NY, root for the Jets, at least your still in the same division and u can still root against the Patriots, They have enough bandwagon fans as it is. Plus New England has forgotten how to be humble. They forget about all those years of losing. I can't wait for it to start again.

Considering you were a Bills fan, I doubt you'd want to be a Jets or Patriots fan, so I would go with the Giants, maybe the Eagles, or even Pittsburgh.

Packers they are that good (5-8) but there has been a lot of good players from that team Brett Favre, Bart Starr, and Paul Harning

How about the Jets, Patriots, or Dolphins. They are in the same division as the Bills so you can see them play each other twice a year.
