why do grapes (purple) raise my sugar levels?
i get home from work at 10 p.m and need a snack so i choose grapes.....but in the morning when i have to test my sugar it reads 101-106, that's a bowl of grapes and sometimes a sugar free juice....... doesn't make sense.... what else can i eat before going to bed to relieve hunger?
about a cup of grapes.......maybe 1 1/2

Grapes have 15 g of sugar in them.
You could have some crackers, cheerios
One small apple
Eight animal crackers
Four medium fresh apricots or seven dried halves
1/2 of a banana rolled with 2-tablespoons Grape Nuts cereal

I would try something with protein in it, grapes have alot of natural sugar in them. What about cereal thats appropriate for your diet

Grapes have natural sugar levels. try eating Strawberries instead
