I need some definitions for math, but i need them in my own words and unfortunately i am not very good with note.

    Place Value: The value of a digit as said by its position in a number.

    Exponent: Number of times a number is to be multiplied.

    Base: The base refers to the 3 in 35. It is the number that is being multiplied by itself however many times specified by the exponents.

    Prime factorization:Prime Factorization" is finding which prime numbers you need to multiply together to get the original number.

    pLACE Value: the digit at a certain place in a number

    example: hundreds place of 6,954,840 =8

    Exponent: the number of times multiplication is repeated

    example: 3^5 = 3*3*3*3*3 = 243 exponent=5

    base: the number being multiplied in an exponential expression

    example: 3^5 = 3*3*3*3*3 = 243 base=3

    power: same as an exponent

    Standard form of a Quadratic Equation: the form ax^2 + bx + c

    prime factorization: finding all of the prime factors of a number

    example: 24= 2*12 = 2*2*6=2*2*2*3

    Just find the definitions in your book and put them in your own words, imagining that you were explaining them to somebody who had little knowledge in math.
