are dogs Man's greatest innovation?

have we made anything better than dogs? (through selective breeding, of course)

Update:

chris, i agree that god created the dog, but you cant believe as an adult (i assume) that god created each of the breeds that we know today. unless youre saying that god gave us the gift of creating dogs with specific charactoristics.

    Dogs are one of God's (not mans) greatest gifts. Dogs are the only creature that love us more than they love themselves and in this selfish world that's priceless.
