Auto bill failed, how much do you think the dow will drop Friday?

The auto bill failed,I believe the dow will drop around 700 points Friday. If one of these companies fail we are in for a deep recession,I know a lot of people here in Toledo,OH that may have to walk away from their homes.

I guess that's what everyone wants so we may get to see a depression firsthand soon

Update:

Because Toledo is a heavy auto industry town,if these companies fail it will soon be a ghost town.

Update 2:

I hoping for 1000 points,I want to see all Americans crushed just like me.

Update 3:

Adam,I did my research and when the 700 billion bank bailout failded there was a 700 point drop.

Update 4:

The only ignorance is from the US Government and the people against the auto loans.Give the banks all they want and let the auto workers suffer,it will be a great day Friday if the dow drops 1000 points.

Update 5:

I hope,I'm ready for some riots.EVERYONE SELL

i just wonder how much financials will lose due to more foreclosures and they will have to raise more cash to bail them out again. real estate should fall hard tomorrow. it is already down 349 points, and 700 sounds reasonable. i guess i'm losing a lot of money tomorrow.

I understand it's a time of fear and uncertainty, but 700 is an arbitrary number that you've come up with, just because...and I wouldn't recommend posting that on other people's questions like you know what you're talking about, just so you can spread the fear and panic because of the pain you're feeling now.

A lot of American families, and global families, are in a lot of pain right now. It wouldn't help anyone, not even you and your pain, for the Dow to drop another 1,000 and if it did in one day, that would be one of the worst in history. Have a little sense and don't spread ignorance because you are pessimistic about the economy.

Do the research before you start spreading things like that around. A drop to 8,000 is possible, and it's one of the levels of support that has proven somewhat resilient. SO that would be a drop of about 550 points, which is not the most we've seen lately.

Why should Toledo, Ohio be any different than any other city in today's economic climate? What makes them special? Welcome to the real world of greed and stupidity. No, I don't have a solution but I am working on several possible alternatives. They all will hurt a lot of people. We could all pray a lot. Yes, I am dead serious. It worked for the Jews of the old Testament but it took forty years and none of the original players made it. Then, again, in those days life expectancy was about 35, so....

Go ahead and sell into panic. Guarantee your losses, and lock 'em in. I'm thrilled to buy everything when it's on fire sale.

If the market drops 1k tomorrow, I'll be smiling like a Cheshire cat as I place my buy orders.
