We have oil prices rising so why doesn't Obama do something about this,he complained when the insurance companies where raising their premiums?The rising oil prices will hurt the economy,and he thinks more drilling will help when the oil companies are actually leaving oil in the ground because there is too much oil.

John Deere and Caterpillar have announced that the health care bill will cost them $150 million for JD and $100 million for Cat,won't this cause job cuts?These are not the only companies who are affected,many other companies have said they will be forced to pay millions more with the health care bill.

Sorry,but forcing companies to pay millions isn't the right way to fund health care.I can't wait to see when taxes will be raised on the middle class.I don't believe the wealthy should be taxed higher either,just because they make good money shouldn't give the government a right to steal it from them to pay other people's health care.

The best way to fund it is with a consumption tax so everyone pays.

In 1974 Nixon introduced a health care bill to Congress and the Democrat's led by Edward Kennedy killed the bill.Later Kennedy said it was the biggest mistake of his career,so why have they decided now to push a health care bill through Congress.

I just want to thank the Democrats for giving us UAW members a nice chunk of that health care reform money.Our UAW VEBA fund my not of had enough money to keep our members covered but thanks to the $10 billion it will help.

I hope the people that made me lose my job at Chrysler lose a lot of money Friday.I will lose my job,house, and pension thanks to a lot of ignorant Americans.The UAW isn't the cause of the auto companies failure,it is the trade laws and tax laws.Japan can import all the cars it wants and gets a 19% tax break or a 19% profit before the car is sold.Detroit exports a car to Japan and there is a 19% value tax added and we can only have 3% of the Japan market,free trade?

So please if you have any stocks sell them Friday because they will be worthless after 1 or more of these companies go belly up and unemployment is over 10%.

The auto bill failed,I believe the dow will drop around 700 points Friday.If one of these companies fail we are in for a deep recession,I know a lot of people here in Toledo,OH that may have to walk away from their homes.

I guess that's what everyone wants so we may get to see a depression firsthand soon

A couple of southern states have given billions in total to some of the foreign automakers to locate in their states.Isn't this a form of a bailout,and what makes this different then the loans to the Detroit 3?

The Senators and Congress want cuts from the UAW,but isn't the US Government in financial trouble too?So will these Senators and Congressman takes cuts in pay and pension?

The UAW has given concessions and will take over the health care fund which employees have been paying into each week.I'm not opposed to a pay cut within reason but the Senators and Congressman could lead by example.If they would take a 10% cut I would be alright with a 10% cut.

Is this too much to ask of them?

Senator Shelby from Alabama opposes the auto loans for the Detroit 3,but isn't it ironic that the state of Alabama has given some foreign automakers over $800 million since 1993 to locate in Alabama?Now isn't this a form of a bailout?Or maybe re is receiving a kickback from the foreign automakers to try to get the loans for the Detroit 3 blocked?

Obama will be spending $1.3 trillion on his plans,where will this money come from?The only thing he can do is bankrupt Social Security and then raise taxes on anyone making over $42,000.

I was just watching Night of the Living Dead and swear the black guy is Obama.He's kind of bossy in the movie too and just shot a guy.Not the guy I would want in the White House.

Do you think Obama's tax plan is good?With his plan the poor will not pay social security tax but raise the tax on people who make more then $250,000.Now I don't make that much money but I will still pay a lot of ss tax(around $7000 per year the last couple of years) and feel this isn't right.Social security was never meant to be a welfare program but a program that you pay into,with Obama's plan social security will soon be broke.

Obama promises to cut taxes but he is going to spend twice as much money on his programs as McCain is,how can he do it?These are empty promises just to get elected,can't people see through him?

I see a lot of people don't like designer dogs like our Morkie,why is that?We went to the dog shelters and they had no small non-shedding dogs so we seen an ad in the paper for a Morkie and one look and we bought her.

I have high polished aluminum wheels that are in bad shape,may have been damaged by acid from wheel cleaners.Does anyone have any experience with cleaning them?If so what products do you recomend?Have you seen the aluminum deoxidizer from California Custom Products that uses acid to clean aluminum wheels?These are not factory clear coated wheels.

Has anyone used the aluminum deoxidizer from California Custom Products?I have some high polished aluminum wheels that have been damaged by acid from wheel cleaner and read on the California Custom website that they have a aluminum deoxidizer with a acid in it that will clean the wheels.I'm kind of worried since acid caused the damage to the wheels and now they want me to apply the acid until the wheels turn white.Anyone have any experiences with cleaning high polished aluminum wheels?

I seen an article that rates the Wrangler as the worst vehicle in Consumer Reports.But it rates the vehicle on ride,handling,noise and mpg.Don't they realize that people that buy Wrangler's don't care about the ride,handling,noise and mpg.Do people actually believe the garbage that Consumer Reports write?
