Because the driver could have transported 5 other passengers instead of being stock in the traffic with you. I understand your point, but you have to understand that taxi drivers are just like everyone else, they have families to feed and they don't like loosing money just like nobody else does.

It's because a Taxi is a business and you basically agree to pay what it is going to cost to get to a destination. The meter runs even if the taxi is not moving. As long as you are in the taxi it is costing that driver fuel, insurance, and time.

yet another decision could be staying in Thailand, and getting a job; above or below the counter to start. As you already know, you may get a room for 3000 baht or so, or share. And subsist on 6000 in case you incredibly had to, exceedingly in case you have any Thai or farang acquaintances interior the country. i think of lots of the appropriate cities have ex-pat golf equipment, besides, and somebody there could have the skill that can assist you. i understand they have an expat community in Pattaya and that i'm advantageous BKK additionally has one. in any different case, in case you pass back to the States, have been you ever a member of a church there? in that case, touch them, and that they could have the skill that can assist you, and supply you extra attention than in basic terms displaying up at their front door, or a look after.
