how much horse power does my jeep have?

in line 6 can crank a lot of power my friend this is one of the most efficient engines, 4.0 probably around 190-200 an its a 91 so loss of oh say 20 so 175HP im a certified mechanic and have been for 4 years owned a 99 jeep it had 210HP it was pretty fast and good on fuel also, so yes all these INTERNET sights are junk , actually if you want TRUE specifications for your vehicle bring it to a performance shop get that thing on a dyno you will know the torque, horse power ect

Ok, it depends on the model. The 4.0 made 190hp in a Cherokee and 180hp in a YJ. And, drevrandfan, Edmunds got it wrong: 126hp was the rating for the base AMC 2.5L I4.

if you really wanna be 100% certain what your exact HP is get it dyno'd. look up places online. but lookin it up on edmunds it days that it has around 126HP

i beleive it to have approx 160-180 hp
