No. Where did you hear such a thing?
If the thing is unsafe it will be outlawed, but there's no reason to ban all hand made toys. Even if they did somehow ban the selling of homemade toys, they couldn't stop people from making toys to give to people.

I handsew one- of- a- kind dolls and sell them on Etsy. I have been looking for the same answer. It sounds like an urban legend, but from what I'm reading it's true. It seems like our lawmakers forgot about the little people and are only focusing on the big manufacturers.

definitely not. unless a specific toy can be used for illegal activity, there's nothing wrong with handmade toys.
