I spend a lot of time online doing complex mathematical stuff. Is there any place I can go or secret to learning what keyboard strokes and key combinations will give me symbols like integrals, squart root, summation (sigma) symbols and the like? Thanks for the help

Click start - programs - accessories - system tools - character map
Find the symbol you want, click on it.
It might list an "alt" code in the bottom right corner.
The cent sign is alt 0162. Hold down "alt" while entering the numbers.
