question about prego tests?

i took an e.p.t. test. on the instructions it says to never hold the test with the absorbent tip upward.... what would happen if i did that? would it effect the results of the test? could it give me a false negative? should i retest? thanks!

    Yes, it could effect the results, that's why it says not to. It wouldn't hurt to take another test.

    As long as you saturated the tip in pee, I doubt there is any issue with the results. If it will make you feel better, take another.
