being that i have a playstation 3 and an xbox 360. i highly prefer the 360. but anyways the best shooter game for the ps3 is resistance 2 and the best for the 360 is gears of war 2.

I totally suggest getting call of duty world at war, but mostly if you have a console and online. If you only have a ps3 then resistance 2 or call of duty and if you have a 360 then gears of war 2 of call of duty.

I liked Quake 3 Arena and Quake 3 Team Arena, but they get boring after a while. Urban Terror is a mod that runs on the Quake 3 engine, but it's much more realistic. I play it with my brother sometimes.
