Um, I am not so sure, about that... I am almost five months and my moods swings are crazy too... My boyfriend tends to stay out of my way, feed me, or take me shopping. Other than that I agree with seany, take fault in everything... No but seriously I am sure it is not you it is most likely horomones, they do ten to get crazy.
Sorry I couldn't help more, good luck and congrats.

never try to calm her down, more than likely she will feel like you are attacking her. telling her she is wrong and you are right even if thats not what you are saying.
let her vent. being pregnant is hard. may look easy but its hard. the hormones make you do crazy stuff. your gaining weight and eating and not feeling good and just uncomfortable all around.
be compassionate. be at her beckon call. less stress she has the less she will put on baby and you.
when i was pregnant with my daughter my husband took care of all the finances so i wouldnt get stressed. he would rub my back cook dinner. never say anything about my weight not even in a joking manner. he would always let me be right. my pregnancy was perfect i would do it a million times over jsut because my husband made it perfect.
it all comes with becoming a parent. and stress and confusion like your having will be minimized once you see that precious angel that will love you forever.
concrats and good luck

You know, when the mood swings hit, just lay low. Don't say or do anything that could potentially set her off. Sadly that is the man's punishment for making women go through labor..LOL! Just don't hold anything she says against you, she probably doesn't mean it. I flipped out on one of the doctors during labor. I never would do anything like that normally. It's all hormones. Stupid hormones.
Good Luck, I know it can be a hard time. Just know that when the child is born, your wonderful amazing girlfriend will be herself again. This won't last forever.

Just be there for her and understand that us pregnant woman go through a lot more than most people know. If she gets pissy, just think that it may not be anything you really did wrong and don't get pissy back or be negative...be nurturing to her, occasionally buy her a rose or something that she likes..if she's craving something, get it for her...just simple little things can really mean a lot!!! Rub her feet or her back...of if she's doing dishes or something, step in and help or take over...Believe me, when my husband does things like that for me, I definitely feel more positive and loving to him because I know he's doing what he can to help me feel better.

I'm 16 weeks pregnant, and I feel so bad for my boyfriend for all the crap I've been putting him through.
Last night he had to hold me down until I chilled out because we got into a fight and I was so angry that I went after him and started punching and smacking the hell out of him him.
All I could say is don't take anything personally if she says anything negative towards you because I say a lot of things I don't mean. I love him so much, but lately he doesn't feel like I do because how much of a ***** I've been.
Don't piss her off, and just agree. I know it sounds stupid but its been keeping me calm.

just agree with everything dont make her feel bad about anything . let her have her way. just be nice. there is nothing other then that that can help its her body there is no meds, no nothing that can fix it you are gonna have to deal with until she has her baby. she dont like the mood swing but she cant control them no girl can its like they take over our body and something that we would normally love makes us cry or it could make us bitchy. you never can tell
so just give her her way and do everything you can to make her happy just dont go overboard where she can tell that will make it worse
good luck

Offer to give her back rubs, foot rubs, run her a hot bath for the 2 of you, get her some meditation CDs, light her some candles and put on some of that soothing music and take a nap together. These are some of things my boyfriend does for me its awesome and brings us closer.

Sorry, I had to laugh about this one! I am pregnant with twins and trust me, I am a major witch! Even with one I was very pissy with my husband. There is nothing you can do about it, just try to make her as happy as you can! Its the hormones! It will be over soon enough, just hang in there!

sadly...there probably isnt anything you can do to help her mood swings. she cant really help them, believe me..im 7 months pregnant & know ! try to just stay out of her way when she's in one of her moods..realize that its not personal, she doesnt mean it at the time ! its kind of like a depressed person, they dont realize how they are over-reacting until its too late ! please just try to understand & support her through this difficult time.it will get better soon, promise !

buy her lots of food.
my mom had twins and she was SOOO moody and all she wanted was crab but of course, fresh crab becasue she couldnt stand the fishy smell from the stuff at the store. everyday, after i got picked up from elementry school, we took a 45 minute drive to the coast and went to a crab shack diner place. EVERYDAY. but my dad said it was totally worth it that she wasnt yelling at him every 4 seconds.
and he rubbed her feet, painted her nails, and braided her hair. i was 5 and i taught him (thank you very much) but that also helped. ask someone to teach you.
good luck buddy. it gets better.
