3 questions on real estate and the housing market...?

If the economy was normal,

-How long on average does it take to build a house large and small?

-How long to sell brand new?

-By how much on average would housing prices increase within 6 month's? Or by quarter?

Update:

I meant the economy in general, like not being in a recession, no halt in cash flow, everythings running and no market bubbles deflating.

Sounds like a homewok question to me and the only true answer that can be given here is

IT DEPENDS and mostly on the area.

This all depends on the area you live in. A standard home of 1500 sq. ft. could be built within 3 months. A larger home you are looking at 6 to 9 months.

In a normal market most homes have an average of 3 to 4 months to sell.

Housing prices usually increase about 3 to 5% per year. And it is the land that is increasing not the home.
