what should i write about 1920's in my final essay?

This was a good time period for many people here in the U.S., a time of relative prosperity. You could write about how people were getting rich during this era, the inventions, technologies, & philosophies, where immigrants were coming from, how religion played a part in general society (this was a time of bootlegging & speak-easies), and about how women's new era of new freedoms and political involvement was just starting to dawn. If you have a great-grandparent still alive you might ask them about this era, or ask your grandparents about stories their parents told them. There are also books about how people lived during that time at the library.
