Crying, whiplash, broken bones, is acting different. Take your child to the doctor if you even think he could have head trauma because you cannot tell that from the outside. I am sure your baby is fine, shaken baby syndrom is usually caused by abusive people and is major shaking, really scary stuff. If you saw any baby being shoke that bad you would call the ambulance right away.

If you suggest ANYTHING take him to the dr. to be checked out fast.
Signs and Symptoms
In any abusive head trauma case, the duration and force of the shaking, the number of episodes, and whether impact is involved all affect the severity of the infant's injuries. In the most violent cases, children may arrive at the emergency room unconscious, suffering seizures, or in shock. But in many cases, infants may never be brought to medical attention if they don't exhibit such severe symptoms.
In less severe cases, a child who has been shaken may experience:
lethargy
irritability
vomiting
poor sucking or swallowing
decreased appetite
lack of smiling or vocalizing
rigidity
seizures
difficulty breathing
altered consciousness
unequal pupil size
an inability to lift the head
an inability to focus the eyes or track movement

If the child is less than fully alert or displays any worrying symptoms, get him to a doc ASAP. And keep the two year old away from the baby--yes, I know it's tough, but come on--you don't need a toddler waling on a little newborn, that's just begging for trouble.
Good luck.

It is always best to see your doctor about something so serious...but I looked up a website for you about the symptoms. In my opinion, if you haven't seen any physical changes in your baby then I'm sure he is fine. I would supervise your 2 yo son around the baby a little closer just to be on the safe side.

It depends how fast but just swinging the baby in the baby swings won't be enough to give them SMS. BUT i would ask a doc, i don't know the symptoms

They normally would have had to literally been shakin. The syndrome is what happens when the brain is ij=njured inside of the skull causing damage.
Seizures and crossed eyes. Convulsing.
But if you have any questions at all go to the ER.
babies are pretty resiliant though, So I feel like it will be ok....
Good Luck!
