How to communicate appreciation through acts of service and words of affirmation?

My husbands love languages are words of affirmation and acts of service...The fist year and a half of our marriage has been a big fight, and we want to save it. I need help thinking of ideas of how to fill his love tank and overcome the huge deficit I have caused. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Think of ways to speak words of encouragement to him about what he does, who he is, ideas he expresses, things he participates in, how he treats you, how he treats others. Fix his favorite meal, watch his favorite movie with him, scratch his back for 30 minutes.

Start with "I am Woman - Part 1" The really good stuff is in Part 4 - so don't miss Part 4

Pray without ceasing and try to look on the positive side. Remember the good things he had going for him when you first met.

    Say less and listen more!

If you don't agree with him, ask for a better reason for what he says.

As long as what he talks about is not a sin, try to see reason and go along with it.

If it IS sin, put on the brakes hard..................
