Help me win the CHAMPIONSHIP, Please?

Well, I made it to the big one, but my team is pretty banged up, and lost its last 3 regular season matchups. Please advise me on some key starts:

QB- Warner @ NE, David Garrard v. IND, or do I pick up Shaun Hill @STL? Warner's cooled off, and may face a must-win D in very bad weather.

RB- Pierre Thomas is starting. For the other spot, it's between Brandon Jacobs v. CAR, Jonathan Stewart @ NYG, Joseph Addai @ JAX, or Maurice Morris v. the Jets. Addai is probable but shaky looking. I have no idea about Jacobs' knee at this point.

WR. Reggie Wayne and Steve Smith start. Last spot is between Kevin Walter @ Oakland, or Houshmandzadeh @ CLE. Every time I pick between these two, the one I bench has a monster day. I feel like the Raiders will sic Asomugha on Andre Johnson and leave Walter open for a big game. Thoughts?

Thanks for your help.

Update:

I appreciate the feedback so far; I'd love some more. I'm thinking that right now I should dump Addai in any case to pick up Shaun Hill, whether I go with him on Sunday or not. There seems to be no risk in this move, especially since my opponent wouldn't be able to pick up Addai (who plays tomorrow) with a 2-day waiver rule in place. Good move, right?

This is tough, sir. However, I will do the best I can.

I am going to go on a limb and say keep track of weather reports for New England. The NE defense is beaten up and Warner might be a great start against them. Even in a "must-win" as you put it. If it's a blizzard, you might consider Shaun Hill as a not so sleepy sleeper (I say "not so..." because he has come out the box the past couple weeks).

I just plain don't trust that Brandon Jacobs will play the whole game with capable backs like Ward and Bradshaw behind him. I know this is a BIG game for both teams, but Jacobs' knee has been a hindrance for awhile now, and I don't like that. Addai is wayyyyy too iffy to start now. Rhodes is getting most of the carries. I know the Giants have a great defense, but I think out of your choices, I'm picking J. Stew. This is a HUGE game for Carolina and could spell Home Field for them. Their tandem back system will be ready to tear things up. You just have to hope that Stewart gets enough touches behind Williams. If you do not trust that, then start Morris. I know that sounds crazy, but at least you know he will have the ball in his hands.

In my mind, Housh is looking like a #2 receiver while Walter looks like a #3. I know he is playing Oakland, but Oakland was looking good against the pass until NE lit them up last week. I think Oakland will be back to their pass stifling ways, which means a great day for Steve Slaton, but not for Walter. Cleveland doesn't have much to show for a secondary. I think I start Housh and pray. You are right, those two are a gamble any given week. If you are in a PPR league (Points Per Reception), then definitely start Housh as he will get more looks than Walter who is a CLEAR #2 behind Johnson. Housh, in a lot of weeks, has looked like the #1 in Cincy ahead of 85.

I hope this helps! Good luck!

EDIT: Yes, dump Addai for Hill. Unless you have someone lower than Addai to dump. Addai isn't going to help you much at the moment.

I examine an editorial the place Jerry Krause claims that he instructed Jordan "coaches and gamers on my own do no longer win championships, companies do." Krause claims that Jordan twisted his words around and instructed Phil Jackson that he mentioned "companies win championships and not gamers". all people can placed gamers on the court docket, pay them, and desire they win. yet Krause has to scout those gamers and see in the event that they are the actual deal. Jordan had the appropriate teammates as weapons for the duration of his championship run. Scottie Pippen, John Paxson, Horace grant, BJ Armstrong, Steve Kerr, Dennis Rodman, Toni Kukoc, etc. He had enormous men in the paint that did the grimy artwork on an identical time as MJ took a brilliant number of the pictures. i in my opinion felt like MJ could desire to've thanked Krause and all his former teammates for assisting him win those awards, jewelry, and entering into the HOF. yet he did no longer, and that i grow to be a shame. My answer to you is that it starts with Jordan on account which you may desire to have a centerpiece to construct around, then the corporate has to place the gamers around you to help in making the gang greater aggressive. The coach has to have each and every participant purchase into the equipment that he installs and convince them to sacrifice their egos for the good of the gang.

    qb- hill

    rb- morris

    wr- houshmandzadeh

st. louis sucks and cant stop anyone. bad teams like san fran dont seem to just lay down the last weeks like teams that have already clinched. the jets defense has really been dodgy of late. cincinnati just like i said above, wants to win out the season for some reason, and houshmandzadeh is probably playing for a trade in the off-season. not to mention he's 3rd in the league in recep's behind welker and a.johnson
