I have a computer question?

My windows update says I should update to Windows XP Service Pack 3. I have SP2. I was just wondering do I need to back up my files and stuff before I update? I don't want to lose anything.

Update:

I have A LOT of music, games and other important stuff. It's definitely more than 4 GBs.

It's always a good idea to have a backup of everything you need just in case something happens. When you install XP SP3, Windows automatically creates a restore point so that if anything goes wrong during the installation, your computer can be restored to its state before the installation.

Normally if you let SP3 install by itself it could take a while. Your computer might even shut itself off and back on again.

Do Not Stop The Installation or Turn Off Your Computer.

As long as your XP is legal, you won't have any problems.

On a Mac, shift/administration/3 takes a image of the exhibit screen. in case you press shift/administration/4, you are able to click and drag over the area you elect; the image is taken once you launch the mouse button.
