What is Life all about?

Learning to love yourself, others, and the world.

Living

If you had an answer to that question, would that make life worthwhile? Maybe life's purpose is to try to fill the void created by the overwhelming mystery of the universe ... by the enormity of that question. If we knew what life was about, we all might start scurrying around trying to do exactly what it is about instead of seeing the smaller pictures (our family, our friends, our lovers) that add flavor and spice to whatever that meaning happens to be. Whatever life is about, rest assured that its task will be done whether you know what it is about or not; and if part of that task is to know, then one day we will. I hope ... I believe that if there is meaning, then it is something akin to love and happiness.

To me, it seems like life is a bit like a school.

You go, you learn lessons, and you grow as a person. Life is all about learning lessons about who you are and who you choose to be. Some people have hard paths to take, but they will take things from these hardships others won't have the opportunity to. So, in all things, we have a purpose: to learn and to become better people.

Life is all about readying our souls to be with God.

i'll tell you what life isn't about:

Life isn't about who you're dating, who you used

to date, how many people you've dated,

or if you haven't been with anyone at all.

It isn't about who you have kissed,

it isn't about sex.

Life isn't about who your family is

or how much money they have

or what kind of car you drive,

or where you are sent to school.

It's not about how beautiful you are

or ugly you are,

or what clothes you wear,

what shoes you have on,

or what kind of music you listen to.

It's not about if your hair is blond,

red, black or brown,

or if your skin is too light or too dark.

it isn't about how many friends you have

or how accepted you are.

It's not about what grades you get,

how smart you are,

how smart everybody else thinks you are

Be good to one another and just try to have fun while we're here, basically. Strive to progress and learn as a people.

I believe that our purpose in life is to follow Jesus's example, but that's just my belief.

Getting Home

Like home here is where Mr. Platypus is, Home is where Jesus is.
