did jim leighton ever play for rangers and have rangers evr had a keeper with the surname roberts?

    No to both,though defender Graham Roberts famously went in goal during an old firm game,after keeper Chris Woods had been sent off.

    Saw him let a few real 'soft' ones in that made him 'look' like he was playing for the 'Gers! But no, Leighton never was A Rangers player and the only Roberts I'm aware of was Graham Roberts who left on the end of a right hook from Souness!

    No Jim Leighton did not play for Rangers and the only player that they had with the surname Roberts was Graham Roberts and he was a defender

    Not sure about 'Roberts' though Graeme Roberts once famously played part of a match in goal for them after Chris Woods was sent off....

    yes he played for ragers for 14 years from 1977 and Alf Roberts worked the cornershop at Ibrox selling pies and footballs and also worked as a goalie beforehand.
