Steelers winning the SB?

I think the Steelers have a great chance to win the SB. The defense is the best in the league, and they are playing well, and getting healthier on offense. Who agrees or disagrees and why? Stars appreciated!

Update:

Come on people, can a Steeler lover get a star or what?

The Steelers definately have a good look at it. Their defense is playing historically stellar this season. This team sort of reminds one of the 2000 Ravens. Like that team, the 2008 Steelers shuts down opposing teams cold and the offense does just enough to win in the end. It is easy to win your games when you only give up no more than 10-14 points per game.

The most telling thing about the Steelers this season is that they won in spite of playing the most brutal schedule in the league. Every game this season save for the Browns, Bengals and Jaguars have felt like a playoff game it has been that brutal. The sad part is that the Browns and Jags weren't supposed to be cupcakes.

The Steelers are clearly a contender, but not the only one in the AFC. The Colts (who beat you in Pittsburgh) is coming on strong, the Ravens and Titans both have strong Ds and can run the ball. Can the Steelers beat a severly weakened Tennessee this weekend, the D will have to step up again. And if they come out of the AFC as the Super Bowl team then they have to beat the NFC team, which won't be easy.

i totaly agree...that D alone can get them there because it keeps them in every game. And yea... with their best players coming back they are even better...they have been playing banged up all year.
