Period 6 days late, no chance of pregnancy?

sometimes this happens. Could be any number of things, like stress, a big change in your life, whatever. Are you normally very regular? if you are, you may want to consider calling to talk to a nurse. If not, waiting it out wouldn't really hurt.

My last cycle was 36 days! (normal would be 28 give or take) I actually took a pregnancy test for only the second time in my life (I'm 28 and married) just to be sure. I wasn't pregnant- my period came two days later.

I would wait until next month to go to the doctor. Illness and different medications can cause a delay in your periods. Stress, anxiety, diet and so many other thing can cause you to skip your period. I would wait until next month since you are not sexually active and pregnancy is not a concern at this time.

If you haven't been sexually active since your last period there is no chance you are pregnant. However if you have had any sex since your last period I'd head down to the drug store and get a test.
