Jeemiah 31:
27 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.
29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Yeshua crazy, lover of Yeshua, Zech 12:10 Indeed it is His grace that is poured out upon the Jews when they realize that the Messiah is our Yeshua, when He is acknowledged by them as Messiah, Ezekiel 37, the two sticks become one, the grafting in (Zion) that Paul speaks of in Romans 11: 23) And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again. 24) For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? 25) For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
And the Covenant - 26And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27) For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28) As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes. 29) For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

The new covenant is Christ
The seeds of man are the sons of Adam from which Christ came, the good seed
The seeds of the beast are the sons of Cain, the bad seed or serpent seed

On the Day of the Lord there will be two harvests one for the righteous and one for the unrighteous
In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge........ the child will not inherit the fathers sin, but each person will give account for their own sin.
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people....... this is the millennial reign of Christ 1000 years one day to God IE The Day of the Lord
After that comes the White thrown judgment of God and a New heaven and Earth

God is The Only God and ALL that The Nation of Israel needed... or still needs for that matter.... a lot more to it than that, but way more than can be put on YA... here is a link to a good commentary on those verses.

Jeremiah 31:34 says, “I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
God told people how to live, by writing on their hearts. They didn't live that way, (and most still don't,) so God sent Jesus, to try to explain in better detail.
In his letter to the Romans, Paul uses the same terminology when he writes “when Gentiles, who do not possess the law, do instinctively what the law requires, these, though not having the law, are a law to themselves. 15 They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts, to which their own conscience also bears witness; and their conflicting thoughts will accuse or perhaps excuse them 16 on the day when, according to my gospel, God, through Jesus Christ, will judge the secret thoughts of all.” (Romans 2:14-16)
According to Paul, some people, with the law written on their hearts, won't need Jesus, but do we really want to take that chance, when Jesus can be there to defend us before God?
Romans 2: 12 All who have sinned apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. 13For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14When Gentiles, who do not possess the law, do instinctively what the law requires, these, though not having the law, are a law to themselves. 15They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts, to which their own conscience also bears witness; and their conflicting thoughts will accuse or perhaps excuse them 16on the day when, according to my gospel, God, through Jesus Christ, will judge the secret thoughts of all.

I think it is after the wrath of God has come. Yeshua is reining and there is peace. All the Jews will look upon Jesus, God, whom they have pierced. And they will mourn for him as an only son.
Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn.
