Can a bisexual person have both a man and a wife?
Legal and married. I think if a person is bi, why must they choose a gender? This is American and they should be able to have both. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
It seems strange that people who are fighting for their rights also have no trouble stepping on other peoples rights.

As a bisexual, no. Legally, marriage is a union between two people.
How ever, I have no problem with polygamy, as long as all partners are of legal age, and consenting. But at the moment, it is not legal.

To be bisexual does not mean that you will be married to man and a woman at the same time.
In str8 marriages it is call polygamy.
Polygamy is being married to more than one person at the same time and under the law it is illegal.
If you are talking about dating both at the same time then that is different.
Many people date more than one person at the same time, it's called playing the field!
To be bisexual means that you can love a man or a woman equally.
And yes, there are bisexuals who are polyamorous, and there are some who are not.

No, not legally. Polygamy is still illegal.
If you think that polygamy should be legal, then of course you are perfectly within your rights to lobby your State legislature, circulate a petition, or organize a grassroots movement to get it legalized in your state.
But quite frankly, I don't see any great groundswell of public opinion calling for the legalization of polygamous marriage, so I think you're pretty much on your own on this one.

Most bisexual people choose ONE partner. I've never met a bisexual person who wanted to marry a man AND a woman. Your point is moot.

That's BS!
You truly are just being greedy! Marriage is between two people that love each other and want to build a life of happiness together! Love knows no gender!
I don't support polygamy because i find it hard to believe that a person is not doing it out of greed and lust!
Bisexuality is not greed but polygamy is! Just my opinion!

They can have a man and a wife. They CANNOT have a husband and a wife.
Bisexuals can be perfectly happy with just one spouse. They aren't choosing a gender, they're choosing a partner.

what if a bisexual is married to bisexuals and they are married to bisexuals?
that's going to be a really big family.
let's get serious. this joke with bisexuality is only working against the rights of homosexuals when thought and used like that.

No, because that is bigamy, and it is unfair on the husband and the wife to have to share the man/women. Bigamy is also an illegal offence.

When polygamists have spent as many years fighting for their rights as we have, then maybe they'll get what they want.

yeah,i guess if your wife or man is okay with it
