Is anyone glad it is Christmas, and what are you plans to celebrate the holidays?

I plan to go see lights, and drink hot cocoa for one thing, any more ideas that are free or cheap to do with the kiddies?

I love Christmas. It's such a magical and mystical time of year. Whenever I hear Christmas songs about the true meaning of Christmas, the day Jesus was born, I get goose pimples. Plus my first son was born on Christmas day, and my second son was born on December 7, which makes it all the more a special time of year for me.

I live in Las Vegas and there are lots of things to do here that are either free or inexpensive. They have the Magical Forest at Opportunity

Village 9.50 for adults 7.50 for kids where kids can ride a train and merry go round and other fun activities , Ethel M Chocolate Factory which is Free, Springs Preserve Lights Festival which if under $10 for adults and children. Gift of Lights Drive thru, And throughout Las Vegas there are activity centers where kids can make all kinds of fun Christmas things which charge no more than $3 or are free. And of course all the malls have Photos with Santa.

Start making your possess traditions along with your son. At two, there is not any feel in celebrating a enormous Thanksgiving. Just spend the day with him - he is two!! When he will get older, you'll be able to make a decision how you're going to spend that day. Why would not you get a tree at Christmas? Make it approximately him - now not such a lot approximately you being all mopey approximately now not having any "household or peers." Get a small tree, make a certain breakfast, and open offers.

When I was little, I always wanted to put on a Christmas Carols show for my grandparents, but they were always too busy to watch.

Now that I have my own grandkids, I beg them to do something like that and then I make sure that they have my undivided attention.

We all feel great afterward and it's a wonderful memory for them.
