MacBook Air Keyboard not responding?
I have a MacBook Air(1st gen) and just today I updated my itunes to 8.0.2.Though the updating went on smoothly, after the update, my keyboard stopped registering any inputs(letters and numbers along with enter and space bar). Now, i also have windows installed via bootcamp and the keys just work fine on them.Does anyone knows or has encountered such a problem?I have an extended 3 yr waranty so will apple replace it? Also, I cant reinstall OS X as I will lose my Windows partition(also i cant type my password). And lets just suppose that apple decides to replace my Mac, will it replace it with a 2nd gen MacBook Air?(They replaced my ipod touch 1st gen with 2nd)

This is a software issue and not something I have come accross, most probably due to USB bus timing, try plugging in an external USB device then removing it..
1. try starting holding the space bar and seeing what hppens you might start insafe mode then it allows you to work normally on restat (if the inbuilt keybord fails try it with an external USB keyboard)
2. reinstalling OS X will NOT lose your windows partition unless you chose to reformat the whole disk it will simply instll on the existing HFS (Mac) parttion.
You need to set it as an archive and install to allow it to work as you cant install an older OS on a newer one..
another option is to install the 10.5.6 COMBO update and it should load all your settings and files for 10.5.6 again
apple do not replace items with updated versions unless they make an error in store or they have no stock if its replace it will be the same model as you have but only if they determint its a hardware fault and as the keybord works under windows its a driver issue..
