Apple iPhone 3G Sound Issues?

The other day after installing an app I lost all sound effects from my phone. The noise when you lock it, when you unlock it, when you type, when you get email, when you get text messages etc. I think it still rings, and it works with Pandora Radio, or as an iPod.

I uninstalled the most recent application installation. And later did a full back up and restore from iTunes. I have the latest firmware.

I have checked the sound options in settings and they are all correct.

Any ideas?

    I would go to the apple store they can really help. Just search their website: 'apple store.'
