Does visual media violence cause increased aggression in females?
This is for a paper. I already have multiple studies on the subject, but now I want public opinions.
By media I am referring to TV dramas, news broadcasts, slasher films and video games.
Books and radio broadcasts can have an impact, but due to the nature of the format it is easier to be distracted from it.

The studies show it does, but not to the same degree [ due to hormonal differences ]. Also young males seem to be more 'attracted' to violent games/ behavior, gender stereotyping does exist. Boys are given soldiers and guns, etc, girls are given dolls, most violent sports [ football/ boxing ] are male dominated. This is both my personal and professional opinion !

It's hard to tell whether or not any sort of violent entertainment as an impact on aggression. If it does, it wouldn't be that way with all males or females seeing as how I'm rather pacifist and I play violent games all the time.

Ive said it before, our technology at the moment is not realistic enough for people to not be able to distinguish real from fake. It does not affect them at all. It seems though however people who are poor and never watched T.V in their whole life are more violent and commit violent actions than those that have.

Women should be soft like a flower petal, or multifaceted like a petal of snow.
