cadillac brougham question..how much would it cost to replace the vinyl top on a '91 cadi brougham?
it's full of cracks and i'm worried about the possibility of rust underneath.Is there any way to seal it temporarily? I got the car recently and want to cherry it out. Do body shops do vinyl tops?

Many body shops can do vinyl tops, but your best bet to have it done well is to have the top done by an auto upholstery shop. If there is any rust under the current top, you would want that to be fixed and primed before the top is installed. Rust under a vinyl top will cause the top to bubble.

No wonder, after sitting 418 months! Just kidding...the problem is most likely a stuck or dirty lifter, from sitting. Buy some hydrolic valve lifter additive, like SILOO. Add to oil and run until lifter frees up! Common problem on those models.
