I wonder if animals feel disgust?

Do they hate certain sights, smells, tastes, textures, sounds to make them feel sick?

Sometimes,my dog make those disgusting sounds trying to clear her throat, or eat things that look really repulsive. I wonder if they feel the same about us.

I think they might, like how they sense that some people are bad and some people are good. I am sure my dogs know the difference between the smell of an apple and popcorn. So if I tried to give my dog apple versus popcorn, they would probably be disgusted with the apple, and want the popcorn. I have some dog pillows that all my dogs love, and some they never sleep on, so whether it is the texture of the fabric, or the material that that pillow is stuffed with, I don't know. I know my dogs don't like the sound of thunderstorms and fireworks, but they are liking the christmas cd's. I think you are right.

No, dogs are not human even as much as we want them to be.

There are things they don't like, but I seriously doubt disgust is one of them. Disgust is a human made concept anyway. My dog won't eat certain foods, but she never runs around the yard yelling "EWWW Gross!..That's disgustinggggg!"

I imagine you do though. maybe what you're really asking is if you're a dog and not the other way around? Just kidding.
