It seems a little hypocritical to go to church and not believe.

Can you have it both ways? I am an Atheist and sometimes go to church but it has nothing to do with God. Atheist do not wear scarlet letters on our foreheads, I see no reason to state your beliefs if you feel you will be shunned and do not want to be.
The other side of me says that you should NEVER hide who you are or what you believe...BE REAL! BE YOU! In the end, its your decision.

I think you should go to your Priest and ak for counseling and may be instructions. You should stay in the Church and seek God He is there! You felt Him once and you will find Him again!
John 3:16,17,18 can lead you to a closer walk with Him and study of your own copy of your Holy Bible.
It sounds like your Love of God has grown cold and that you need to rekindle the flame as jesus said that you should!

meh I had to go through that. It really depends on your church. My church was totally cool about it. At first there was a little bit of a shock, but I still go time to time and now nobody treats me any different.

well, i know we all have a gut feeling of what is right and wrong.
if it feels right and good, then do it
if it doesn't feel right and good in your soul, it probably isn't for your soul.
maybe you're supposed to be there to find your love for God again.
good luck to you.
