Are setup.exe files the actual program? Can I delete setup files after I install a program?

I seem to recall that a setup.exe was not the actual program, but I am not sure. With so many upgrades to old programs I have a lot of setu. exe files.

They are used to setup or install the actual program into your system. You can delete them. I save them into a folder and try to document them and eventually write them to CD. You never know, when your computer will crash and you'll lose a favorite program.

Deleting cache and cookies should be done on a regular basis--every week or so. Some people do it every day before shutting down the computer for the night. You probably have just exceeded the memory space allocated for the temporary files. Generally, system restore will restore your computer to a previous date. Anything done after that will be lost. From what you've said, you don't need to implement this option at this time.
