Is Jeff Gordon going to win another Championship before he's done racing?
I've been a big Gordon fan for a while. Ever since Pepsi took him over as a sponsor. I work for Pepsi. Once that happened, he won a few championships. But since then, he hasn't.
Anyone see him winning another one before he's done? And how old is he?

I see him winning one or more...sure he will. And don't be too surprised if his year is the one just ahead of us. 2009!!
Jeff turned 37 , August 4th.

I hope and think that he will win another title, maybe even more. People seem to forget that he could have won the title in 2004 and 2007 without the chase. I'm not against Kurt Busch or Jimmie Johnson, they did a great job. But I think that Jeff was the best driver of the year, just not the best in the chase. Running the COT full-time in 2008 just didn't work out great for the #24. And without some bad luck, he could have won five or more races. If he and his crew are able to make good pit calls and avoid bad luck, he can be a championship contender in 2009.

Every one who is saying he is 37 and is getting to old age does not matter its to have the will to still win a championship. I don't think age matters he still has another 10 years or more in the sport and another 1-3 championships to win.

NASCAR has been crowning a Champion considering the fact that 1948 and dissimilar, many hundreds of drivers have competed for the identify. lots of the final drivers to ever compete on no account gained a Championship and thank you to repeat winners, approximately 30 drivers own a Championship from fifty 9 comprehensive seasons of racing. permit's placed it this form, if David Pearson had raced comprehensive time throughout his occupation, what proportion might he have gained? Hmm, he competed for 4 Titles and gained 3. that's entirely available that if Pearson had run comprehensive time throughout his occupation, 7 Championships might look somewhat a paltry purpose. I nonetheless am a Pearson fan and that i pulled for him even interior the process the years he had no possibility to win the identify by using constrained schedule he ran. Pearson all started 574 races (9th universal) and gained a hundred and five (2d universal) for a winning proportion of 18.29% or a coloration below a million in each 5 races he ran, he gained. His style of 2d place finishes is likewise magnificent as is his universal splendid 5's. If NASCAR followers merely cared approximately drivers who gained Championships, the stands could be almost empty. If a driving force we pull for easily wins a identify, it is merely the icing on the cake of delight and exciting they weekly upload to our lives. maximum individuals understand that if our driving force or drivers survives the race, competes confusing and overcomes adversity to get the final end obtainable, it is all we choose. i'm a Junior fan, and he could or will never win yet another race. does not count to me by using fact at a number of of races he can end previous to Johnson or Gordon and those factors could desire to deny the two a Championship. merely as Pearson value Petty some Championships. Ahh, existence is nice. i grow to be additionally Senior fan and dissimilar human beings believe that if he had no longer been killed in 2001, he might have gained his 8th identify that 12 months. He almost had it in 2000. He grow to be primed and he needed it undesirable. yet back, merely icing, as he grow to be exciting to observe regardless of if he grow to be competing for a splendid 20.

There is a distinct possibility that he will. But, either he and Letarte need to get it together, or he needs to get a new crew chief. I do see him winning another Cup Championship in the next few years.

I think he will. But it might have to be 2010. I would like to see Jimmie set a new record (4 in a row) rather than just tie one.
