Your body is stil trying to clear the mucous from the bronchitis. Smoking stops the cilia from sweeping this mucous out so you will probably make your cough worse and it will last a few more days

Of course it is a bad idea. Do you really think someone is going to tell you that it is a good idea to smoke (anything) right after you had bronchitis? Don't ask the question if you don't want to hear the answer or listen to it.
