Changing yahoo home page back to classic view?
Has anyone else had their yahoo page oh so conveniently changed to that purple crap where it automatically lists your mail when you hover...like the newer yahoo version...ya well I don't like it at all does anyone know how to switch it back to just the regular yahoo classic?

Yahoo is testing a new layout, but it is not hitting all users at the same time.
Clear your browser cache of cookies and temp files, then type http://www.yahoo.com/ in the browser window - that should return the old familiar design...:-).

Unable to get to classic. I am using basic email, which is almost bearable, but a long step back from classic. Right now I am missing my custom home page where I used to have all of my weather locations complete with 3 days work of icons for clouds, sun, etc. I could look at all of my locations at the same time and decide where to drive to get away from the valley heat or right now I would be looking to see which way to drive to get away from the clouds and see the meteor shower. That used to come in really handy. Now, I have to go to weather and click on one location at a time instead of looking north south, east west all at one time. Stop fixing what isn't broke Yahoo and Microsoft, too.

my home page disappeared (with Yahoo) when I downloaded Microsoft 10 to my computer. What a mistake that was and how do I get it back with all of my sites?

I don't have an answer as to how to get my homepage back the way it was - just want to add my voice to the others that are unhappy with the change. Does Yahoo even read this stuff?

THIS SUCKS!! Even the fix that echinopsis suggests above that is said to be best answer no longer works!! How do I get my old YAHOO home page back now that they have changed it AGAIN!????

The new one won't let me sort Spam alphabetically, so instead of having all of the irritating insurance spams grouped together, so that I can actually FIND a spam that wasn't supposed to be in spam, it's impossible -- I have to scroll down all 500 spams to find the lost email. I HATE the new yahoo. And, I want to sort my mail by Sender, yahoo.

To easily switch to Classic or previous view; click on Help/Setting icon (next to your username), select Settings, on Mail version option, switch Full Feature to Basic, and click on Save (refresh might needed)
