i bought a sterling silver earring from the dollar store n it cost $3.20. do u think its real because i just got my 2nd hole in my ear n i need a real silver or gold earring so do u think its real???

real sterling silver cannot cost $3.20. so sorry, no it's not real. i doubt the dollar store would sell real silver.  

if you're looking for inexpensive sterling silver earrings, don't go to claire's, icing, forever 21, or stores like that b/c those stores don't have sterling silver. if you have a tj maxx, marshalls, or ross near you try there. go to their jewelry dept. and you will definitely be able to find cute, inexpensive, sterling silver earrings.

look for a 925 stamp on the earring
if it has it, it is real silver
