Sterling silver is and will never be real silver. The base metal is copper or brass and it is electroplated usually with nickle or some other shiny element it could actually be plated with silver but then it would say silver plated. sterling silver is nickle plated . It is the same thing.

FAKE. its fake because if u got dat 4 a dollar or watever it must be fake. real ones would prob cost about around 80.99 or so. my mom makes jewelry and she uses real stuff and she sells them 4 about 70.00 or watev so dey r defentily fake

Try biting the earring. If the metal is soft, then it may be real. But otherwise, i doubt it.
