Ok...if your lecture is about the Black Mass specifically, it is intended to ridicule the catholic mass; that being said, everything is opposite the catholic mass (i.e. instead of praising god, they praise Satan, etc. etc.)

Depending on the tradition of Satanism the particular Satanist follows, you will get different answers. Almost universally, however, Satanism is self-focussed in that it encourages the individual to become the best they can be for themselves & be proud of it; this is in stark opposition to the judeo-christian ideas of humility & self-loathing encouraged in their scriptures.

As to humans being the worst creatures out there due to the holy spirit. I think you are mixing up two different references. Anton LaVey makes the statement in the Satanic Bible that '...man is an animal like any other, sometimes better, but often worse than those that walk on four legs...' I believe he was making reference to the fact that humans are capable of committing atrocities that no other animal could ever conceive of.
