In your opinion, what are some of the best dive bars in Philadelphia?

Well.... the dive bars are broken-down into categories.. Which category would you like? (Black? White? Biker? Punk? Rock? Whores? Dope? Just Beer? Full Bar? Cheap Drinks? Pool Hustling? Basement Gambling? Dancers?)

You're not going to find the answer you're looking for on Yahoo-Answers because most of these people have their mommy flossing their buttcrack each morning before they have their cappuccino and proceed with their fake, lying, protected life on the internet. - Yeah - I just happened to have insomnia and here I am.

The all-time best dive bar (not just in Philly - the entire world) WAS JC Dobbs on South Street because they had all of the above and more. On top of everything they had the very best bands you ever heard.

Because Dobbs is long gone - today I am told it's a place called "The Dive"-literally, but, naturally I'm skeptical.

You see...... I took a little detour and have been absent.

I dunno. I don't really go to the bars in Philly. I usually eat Mac N Cheese at the Dish at 4th and South. Then buy a case or beer and drink it on top of the art museum stairs. We used to go to the pavillion in the back until they tore it down.. B*stards!!!
