Well sorry for loosing yr mom, i lost my BF the same period 3 years back, anyway thats life, and there will be lots of Xmas's and new years in life, if u feel yr going to be better if going on and change, then do it, but i think giving yr mom sometime and grant her, visit and be with yr family, i mean sisters and brothers, or her family if she had and they r close, be with them, spend time with them, because yr sure going to be an outsider if u went to celebrate occasions in this time, thats what i did and it helped me a lot, feeling peace from inside of me, and moving on...

Tired and relieved. I'm tired because all I've done for the past three days is cook and clean. Relieved because it's all over. I love to see it come, but today I'm lovin the fact that it is gone. I took my tree down last night, bagged up about 20 bags of garbage, and went to bed at 7. But, like you, today is a little sucky because I had to work also.

The first holiday after losing your mom is the worst one. We are on year 3 so it hurt a little less this year, but it's still there.

I'm at work too. BORING! I'm so freakin tired and hungover from christmas! It's the worst!

    Hang in there

I feel like driving four hours to the warm, cozy mountainside cottage where my boss is and ramming this PC down his throat.

Other than that, I feel basically OK. Glad the rush is over.

So sorry to hear about your mom. So glad I still have mine. But I do miss my dad at Christmas time.

There's usually a post xmas blues the day after for me. It's kind of a letdown after the build up to the holiday and now it's over....for another year.

So sorry for your loss. My letdown is nothing like yours...and I'm off work today so I can relax through the weekend (and my visiting family is still here).

Take care of you...may your heart heal soon!

Sorry about your mom, that's tough. I want to get all this Christmas "crap" packed up, back in the attic and the house back to normal.

Relieved! Christmas is pretty much an all stress, no fun day for me - way too many expectations for way little payoff. I'm glad it's over.

    Relieved.......thats how I feel today.

Christmas, although wonderful to share with family and friends.....is always stressful for me and this year was no exception.

    aww. how sad :(

i don;t have a mother, well what i means is i never knew her.

    just me and my dad.

christmas seems like an ordinary day to me.

i celebrate alone coz my dad always leaves me alone at home

and go to his gf;s house.

    but im used to it

    :)
