Poll: Whats the worst thing about attending weddings?

the way some women stares at u! urghh thats so disgusting, staring at a Girl from top to Bottom..... and coming to u and asking about ur qualification and all that! i just go berserk... i am like "wots wrong Aunty?"

this always happens wid me... this is the msot annoying thing!

I have a long list.

1) Dressing up in sarees and lehngas and those heavy jewelry. Do you know how heavy those earrings really are?

2) The wedding is too long.

3) The pundit says the mantras in "shudh" Hindi which I don't understand that well.

4) Women come up and ask you if you want to or are planning to get married. I totally hate that.

5) Hugging people and kissing cheeks gets really tiring.

6) Finding out that you have a bajillion more cousins that you originally thought you had.

7) When the groom's side acts cheap and doesn't pay the bride's girl cousins when they stop the couple at the door and when they refuse to pay for the groom's shoes. That happened to us, twice!!!!!

they are beautiful to watch, but they are too long. and then at the end when you want to give your blessings to them, there are so many people ahead of you who are giving there blessings and talking to the bride and groom. i mean it's nice that they are talking but it's just the wrong time to talk. And also on deciding on what to wear because you do not want to look better than the bride. that's just going to ruin the whole idea of the wedding (ok so maybe not the whole idea). a wedding is for the bonding of a couple (that's the best way i can describe it) and the bride is suppose to look pretty.

weddings are fun.. when whole family is together.. all small kids to play with and yum food

but my hate list includes makeup.. c'mon its so creepy and overdose may result one to look complete fool

and yes waiting for the baratiys (boy's side)

when in the boy's side, that time while dancing everyone just steps on your feet and sometimes it even results to swelling!! uhh!! experienced many times

and yes...how can one forget the moment when someone accidentally pushed you or dropped some eatables on your brand new dress... and the stain doesn't go!!! and a mess with all photos just because of stained dress

and finally the photo album comes... in which you are looking fool or ugly or simply not good

Lots of things!!

1)Those annoying aunties who stare at you like you are from a completely different planet!

2) Then come those irritating baccha log who run from here to there throughout the marriage..

3) Another thing would be going up on stage and posing with the Bride and Groom for photos and videos, I totally hate it coz i always make a complete fool of myself, there was this incident where i stepped on the bride's foot by mistake!, It was soooo embarrassing! :(

I always think that maybe they don't really know what they are doing and will end up in divorce. It really makes me sad. I would like to attend an Indian wedding. I saw one on TV once and it was so elaborate and beautiful. I think the marriage was arranged. Maybe those marriages work out better than when we choose our mates??

Well my cousin just had a huge wedding in San Antonio. I went with my parents because my husband was deployed at the time. While everything was going on I felt really sad because almost everyone had someone and it was just a very romantic atmosphere.

Well....Everything is fun...But, standing next to the groom & bride & posing there for long is irritating & feel shy too:p

Else they are awesome! I mean Indian weddings:)

For Indian hindu wedding, you can't really enjoy the ceremony because of too much noise & people moving around unless your seat is near the mandap.

I like the weddins but going with mt mother in any wedding just get me bored bcoz she hang out with her friend circle or relatives and I have nothing to do than just to listen their gossip,etc.

Wedding is a happiest ceremony for everyone.

Only worst thing I have ever found is getting injured while dancing.
