Old stains in Hockey Jersey?
I have a hockey jersey (base color is white -100% Polyester) and it has several little tan colored stains, probably from spilled food and drink. I haven't worn it in a couple years, so this will be the first time I've washed it in awhile. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do overnight to help get the stains out when I do laundry tomorrow.
I always washed it with in cold water with like colors as the directions indicated, then let it air dry. Is there any hope to get these stains out?

If you have regular Dawn blue dishwashing liquid, you could try pretreating the stains with it, or better yet, soak the entire jersey in oxyclean solution. I've got a lot of stains out of my son's t-shirts by soaking them prior to laundering.

specific, that's a bloody (no connection on your bonus question.... ok specific there is, I threw it accessible on purpose) shame! i could not STAND to work out my liked Bobby Orr in a Hawks sweater! i'm a sort of adult adult males that sense possession ought to a minimum of supply the participant the choice to play for one club in the event that they so wish, it may be like the superb appreciate element to me. I additionally understand that's not the prudent element for the team to do. BQ: quit up a sink and fill it with chilly water. upload some detergent and stir to dissolve it, then soak the sweater for as long because it takes to loosten the stain from the fibers. Then grab the textile with the two palms and rub the stained section against itself, shifting the textile slightly between your hands to get to a sparkling section.

Try and old toothbrush and some toothpaste, preferably with baking soda in it. Let the stuff sit overnight.
Good luck.
