Yahoo keeps emailing me best answer alerts for the same question. ?

You can't do a thing about it. This is yet another glitch by Yahoo and many of us are suffering through this. Eventually, they'll get around to fixing it but, face it, there's lots of glitches on this site. The category leader boards (top 10 answerers) haven't been up-dated since June!

This is happening to me to - i'm getting them about every fourty mins and it's driving me nuts!

I went into my profile and checked not to allow YA to contact me via email anymore but i'm still getting emails about the same best answer from days ago!

This wouldn't be so bad if I were getting the points over and over again -but no such luck!

For the love of god do not pick my answer as best - make the emails stop!!!

i guess the main question is are you getting 10 points each time?! just kidding. it hasn't happened to me yet, but my luck has been slim on getting best answer. guess i'm just too honest and not telling people what they want to hear. dang my luck!

maybe just a software glitch. possibly the best solution would be to contact yahoo directly and asking them if there is a way to solve the situation.

whats up Smiley, comparable undertaking is occurring to me too. before everything i presumed i replaced into getting Yahoo love from my contacts,then all of them became out to be from the comparable question =( i assume my answer replaced into so incredible that yahoo felt the would desire to maintain telling me various situations over =P EDIT- 6 situations so far.WOW, Yahoo would desire to truly be inspired with my answer EDIT- Now 7 situations EDIT- as much as ten now =) edit-12....12....12 E-mails keeping my answer replaced into picked as appropriate answer (ok, that replaced into an exceedingly undesirable Sesame street "the count form" impersonation) EDIT- yet another 12 over night, i'm now at 24 EDIT- 28 EDIT-34 WOW Yahoo would desire to have fairly enjoyed my answer =)

Click on your name over your avatar, then click on edit my profile. Go down to where it says E-mail when I get a best answer. Untick the box and no more e-mails from yahoo.
