Police Investigation Tactics?
Hi,
My dad was in an accident over sees this past week. Unfortunatley the other driver died, to no ones apparent fault. However, on the same day, the police called my dad and told him the other driver had died in the hospital (she was still alive on scene). But me and my mom looked at the police report online and it said she was still in critical condition a day after the incident. My question is, are the police know to do this in cases to try to get someone to admit to something..
Thanks

it would seem that the police entry had not been updated.
why the police would call to report this to your dad is rather bizzare

I guess this poster above me never read a newspaper or watched the news and seen this information, DAILY directly from police depts.
The report you may have read may have been the initial report, usually with major accidents and fatalities there are supplimental reports. to update information such as a death as it becomes known.

sorry, i dont believe this. medical information is private and if someone passed away, that information would not be available online in any hospital or law enforcement documentation.
